Lutheran Campus Ministry

What's Happening?

We hope the semester is off to a great start! Here's the latest news from LOL/LCM.

Check out our Google Calendar: lcm.umich@gmail.com

    Student Night: Wednesdays @ 6:00pm

We gather in the LOL basement to enjoy a free home cooked dinner every Wednesday night just for students. Following the midweek worship service, come participate in an activity (bible study, game night, movies, discussions, etc.) with your peers.

    Midweek Worship: Wednesdays @ 6:30pm

We gather in the chapel for a quiet, contemplative mid-week liturgy that includes Holy Communion. You can expect music, scripture, and prayer. This a great opportunity to take a break from the business of the week, to rest, to breathe, and to refresh your soul.

    Worship: Sundays @ 11am

Holy Communion is celebrated each week and is followed by brunch in the felloship hall or a barbecue on the lawn. It's the best meal of the week!

    Choir: Sundays @ 9:45am

Campus ministry has a rich tradition of fine music and welcomes all who wish to join the choir or to "make a joyful noise" as soloists or assisting ministers. Interested? Director of Music Ministries Time Krohn would love to hear from you: tskrohn@gmail.com

    How to Find Us

Lord of Light Lutheran Campus Ministry is located 801 S. Forest Ave., on the southeast corner of Hill Street and South Forest Avenue, just two blocks west of "The Rock."

Unfortunately, parking is at a premium - though parking tickets are abundant - around here. If you don't mind a little walk, a public parking structure is located one block north of the church, at the northwest corner of South Forest Avenue and Willard Street.

On Sundays and legal holidays, parking is available along both sides of South Forest Avenue. In addition, parking in the public structure north of us is free on Sundays.

In addition, Monday-Friday from August through April, The Link stops at the southwest corner of South Forest Avenue and Hill Streets, right across from the church. You're welcome to relax on the lawn while you wait for the bus.
