Lutheran Campus Ministry

For more than nine decades, Lutheran Campus Ministry at the University of Michigan has served as a community in which students are able to explore the intersections of faith, academia and daily life.

The center of our life together is the weekly celebration of Word and Sacrament on Sunday mornings (Sept. - May at 11:00 a.m. and June - Aug. at 10:00 a.m.). As we gather to hear the Word proclaimed in scripture, sermon and in song, raise our voices in prayer and praise, confess our shortcomings and experience the presence and forgiveness of Christ in, with and under the elements of bread and wine, we are strengthened in faith and empowered to share the good news of God's never-failing love with all people.

I hope that this website will help to introduce you to this lively community of God's people but we hope that it won't fully satisfy your curiosity! We invite you to get acquainted with us in person by joining in any of the activities that may be of interest to you. If I may be of service, please do not hesitate to be in touch. I look forward to meeting you!

May God bless your journey in faith.

Yours in Christ,

Sue Sprowls
